About Weelinx

Weelinx is a two-sided marketplace for monthly, verified content placements. Publishers list their sites with transparent metrics. Buyers (SEOs and agencies) subscribe to placements with payment held in escrow until the link is verified live. Every placement is re-verified on a weekly, monthly, and random-spot-check cycle — if the link disappears, payment pauses immediately.

Weelinx is built by James Burfield, founder of SEOBurf (an SEO consultancy based in Bath, UK). James has 15+ years in SEO across ecommerce, SaaS, and local verticals. Weelinx is the tool he built to solve his own link-building workflow.

Weelinx facilitates editorial content partnerships — guest posts, sponsored content, niche edits, and editorial mentions. These are legitimate forms of content collaboration used across the publishing industry. We require sellers to follow Google's link scheme guidelines, including using the appropriate rel attributes for sponsored content. Buyers who need specific link attributes (dofollow, sponsored, nofollow) can specify this in their brief.

Buying placements

No. The marketplace is fully browsable without signing in. Account creation is free and only required when you want to subscribe to a placement.

Listings show tier, metrics, niche, and reliability score — but not the exact domain — until payment confirms. This protects seller inventory from being copied off-platform. You see every relevant evaluation signal before committing.

Yes. Buyers can cancel any subscription at any time from their dashboard. The seller is notified immediately and has 30 days to remove the content. There is no minimum contract period and no cancellation fee.

Our crawler checks every active placement every week (light check) and every month (full check), with random spot-checks in between. If your link is not found, payment is paused immediately. The seller has 7 days to reinstate it. If it remains missing, the subscription is cancelled and you stop paying. You are never charged for a link that is not live.

For guest posts and sponsored content, yes. Sellers submit a draft through the placement thread for buyer approval before publishing. You can request up to 2 rounds of revisions. For niche edits and editorial mentions, the seller publishes directly — you can flag issues via the dispute flow if something's wrong.

Yes. When subscribing, specify your preferred rel attribute. Dofollow is the default, but you can request rel="sponsored" for compliance with Google's disclosure guidelines. The verification crawler checks that the correct attribute is in place and flags any post-publication changes.

Standard verification is within 48 hours of the seller marking the placement as live. Express verification (same-day) is available for a £5 add-on at checkout.

£29/month for agencies and high-volume buyers. Includes bulk order tools (subscribe to 10+ placements in one flow), CSV export of your portfolio, white-label monthly link health reports for your clients, Express verification included on all placements, and priority customer support.

Selling placements

Bronze tier — our floor — starts at Domain Rating 10 with at least 500 monthly organic visitors, spam score under 5%, and a domain at least 1 year old. Sites below these minimums are not accepted. Bronze isn't a bad badge — it's our baseline for quality.

Automatically on submission: Ahrefs DR and organic traffic, Moz spam score (or Majestic Trust Flow), WHOIS domain age, Google indexation check, niche classification via GPT-4o mini, content quality signals, and PBN / fraud heuristics (outbound link patterns, network detection, brand presence). You receive results by email within 10 minutes.

Every 3 months. Upgrades happen automatically with an email notification. Downgrades get a 30-day warning before taking effect — giving you time to improve the affected metrics before the tier change. If metrics improve in the warning window, the downgrade is cancelled.

Via Stripe Connect. Payouts release on the 1st of each month for all verified-live placements from the previous month. Minimum payout £10 — if you're below £10 for a given month, it rolls over. You receive your full listed price — the 15% platform fee is charged on top to the buyer, not deducted from you.

Yes, always. You see the buyer's brief and target URL before accepting. Decline anything that doesn't fit your editorial standards. No penalty.

The 7-day window is the default. If you need longer for a specific placement, negotiate in the message thread before accepting. Both sides can agree on an extended deadline that works for the content complexity.

Pricing and fees

We take a 15% platform fee from each monthly placement payment, charged to the buyer on top of the seller's price. The fee drops to 12% after 6 months and 10% after 12 months of continuous placement (loyalty discount). Beyond the platform fee, optional upgrades are Buyer Pro (£29/mo for agencies), Premium Listing (£19/mo for sellers, top-of-category visibility), and Express Verification (£5 one-off per placement for same-day check).

No. Free to sign up, free to browse, free to list, free to create listings. The only costs are the per-placement platform fee (15%, reducing over time), and the optional upgrades mentioned above. Standard Stripe processing fees apply as per Stripe's published rates.

GBP at launch. USD and EUR support is on the v2 roadmap. Stripe handles currency conversion for sellers who bank in non-GBP currencies.

Verification and trust

Three cycles: weekly light check (link presence, rel attribute, page status 200), monthly full check (everything plus indexability, link position, anchor text match, content drift detection), and random spot-checks (10% of placements sampled each week for an unscheduled full check).

The random spot-checks make it very difficult. If checks ran only on a predictable monthly schedule, a seller could temporarily add a link for the check and remove it between. Spot-checks sample from the entire active placement pool every week — there's no safe window to pull a link. Patterns of repeated failure trigger manual review of all the seller's listings.

False negatives happen (CDN caching, brief CMS deploys, transient HTTP errors). Sellers can request manual verification from their placement dashboard. Admin re-checks within 24 hours; if the automated result was incorrect, payment resumes immediately and the seller is credited for any paused period.

The percentage of monthly verification checks passed across all of a seller's active placements, trailing 12 months. A seller with 95%+ reliability and 5+ placements is eligible for the Trusted Seller badge. New sellers show "New seller" until they have 3 months of verification history.

Disputes and support

Open a dispute from your placement dashboard. The other party has 72 hours to respond. If not resolved between you, a Weelinx admin reviews the case and makes a binding decision. Common dispute types: content quality, false verification negatives, anchor text or content changes without consent.

Buyer or seller opens a dispute with specific details. Other party responds within 72 hours. If settled between parties, dispute closes with agreed resolution. If not, it escalates to admin review — typically resolved within 48 more hours. Admin decision is binding.

Email support@weelinx.com. Standard response time under 8 business hours; Buyer Pro accounts get priority support with <4 business hour response. For billing or account issues, include your account email so we can look up your account quickly.
