Terms of Service

1. What Weelinx does

Weelinx operates a two-sided marketplace where site owners (Publishers) list their sites for content placement and buyers (Advertisers) subscribe to placements on a monthly basis. Payment is held in escrow until link verification confirms the placement is live.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

3. Publisher obligations

Publishers must own or have the authority to place links on the sites they list. Published content must comply with Google's Webmaster Guidelines including use of appropriate rel attributes for sponsored content. Publishers must keep approved placements live for the duration of any active subscription.

4. Advertiser obligations

Advertisers must not submit briefs that are illegal, deceptive, or defamatory, and must not request placements that violate Google's link scheme guidelines. Advertisers are responsible for the content at their target URLs and any claims made there.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Advertisers authorise monthly recurring charges for active placements. The Weelinx platform fee is 15% of each monthly payment, reducing to 12% after six months and 10% after twelve months of continuous active placement.

6. Verification and payment release

Weelinx verifies placements weekly, monthly, and via random spot-checks. If a verification check fails, the subscription is paused and the Publisher has seven days to remediate. If remediation fails, the subscription is cancelled.

7. Cancellation

Advertisers may cancel any subscription at any time. Publishers are notified immediately and have 30 days to remove the placement content. No pro-rata refunds are issued for mid-month cancellations.

8. Disputes

Disputes between Publishers and Advertisers are handled through the Weelinx dispute resolution process. Admin decisions are binding. Any unresolved claims are subject to the governing law of England and Wales.

9. Limitations of liability

Weelinx's total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid by the claimant in the 12 months preceding the claim. Weelinx does not warrant the SEO results or ranking impact of any placement.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to users by email at least 14 days before taking effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Jurisdiction for any disputes lies with the English courts.
