1. What we collect

When you create an account: your email address and any display name you provide. When you submit a site: the domain, its evaluated metrics, and any fraud-detection signals we derive during evaluation. When you transact: Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and transfer records (we don't store your card details — Stripe does). When you use the service: standard access logs, IP address, user agent, and usage analytics.

2. Why we collect it

To provide the marketplace service: matching buyers and sellers, verifying placements, processing payments, responding to support requests, and preventing fraud.

3. What we don't collect

We don't collect financial information beyond Stripe IDs. We don't sell personal data to third parties. We don't run third-party advertising or retargeting scripts on the logged-in dashboard. We don't track users across unrelated sites.

4. Who we share it with

Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and auth), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (hosting and infrastructure). All are GDPR-compliant processors under signed data processing agreements.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session token) and basic functional cookies for user preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on the product site.

6. Data retention

Active account data is retained while your account is active. Financial records are retained for 7 years per UK tax law. Anonymised logs are retained for 90 days.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@weelinx.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure is primarily located in the EU. Where data leaves the EU (e.g. some Stripe processing), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service evolves. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance.
