Account and Billing

Managing your account, updating payment details, accessing invoices, and changing your email or notification preferences.

Updating your account email

Go to /dashboard/settingsAccountChange email. You'll need to verify the new email address via a magic link before the change takes effect.

Updating payment method (buyers)

Go to /dashboard/settingsBilling. You'll be redirected to a Stripe customer portal where you can update your card or switch payment method. Changes apply to future monthly charges — current pending charges are unaffected.

Updating payout details (sellers)

Go to /dashboard/settingsPayouts. This takes you to your Stripe Connect dashboard where you can update bank details, verify additional documents, or update business information.

Accessing invoices

Every monthly charge generates a Stripe invoice automatically. Find them at /dashboard/settingsBillingInvoices.

Invoices include:

  • Buyer name and billing address
  • Seller (listing) reference
  • Platform fee breakdown
  • VAT where applicable

Notification preferences

Go to /dashboard/settingsNotifications. Control which events send you an email:

  • Placement requests (sellers)
  • Placement status changes (both)
  • Verification results (both)
  • Payment events (both)
  • Dispute notifications (both)
  • New listing recommendations (buyers)
  • Tier changes (sellers)

Deleting your account

You can request account deletion from /dashboard/settingsAccountDelete account.

  • Active placements must be cancelled or completed before deletion
  • Sellers: all listings must be deactivated
  • Pending payouts must be settled
  • Deletion takes 14 days from request (to allow rollback for accidents)

Per GDPR, we retain anonymised financial records for 7 years as required by UK tax law. Personal identifying information is removed on account deletion.

GDPR data requests

To request a copy of your personal data or a data deletion beyond standard account deletion, email privacy@weelinx.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changing role

Every Weelinx account supports both buyer and seller roles on the same login. You don't need separate accounts.

  • Submit a site → account becomes a seller
  • Subscribe to a placement → account becomes a buyer
  • You can do both simultaneously

Team accounts

Team accounts (multiple users per organisation) are on the v2 roadmap. For now, Buyer Pro covers most agency needs without requiring separate seats.
