How Pricing and Fees Work

Complete breakdown of Weelinx pricing — platform fees, loyalty discounts, seller pricing guidance, optional upgrades, and example calculations.

Last updated 2026-04-15

Weelinx pricing is straightforward: free to list, free to browse, 15% platform fee on successful monthly placements, and a few optional upgrades.

Platform fee

15% of each monthly payment, charged to the buyer on top of the seller's listing price.

Example: if a seller lists a placement at £50/month:

  • Seller receives: £50
  • Platform fee: £7.50
  • Buyer pays: £57.50

Loyalty discount

The platform fee decreases automatically for long-running placements:

| Months active | Platform fee | |---|---| | 0-5 | 15% | | 6-11 | 12% | | 12+ | 10% |

The discount applies per-placement. A buyer with one placement at 14 months and another at 3 months pays 10% on the first and 15% on the second.

For buyers

Free account

No monthly fee to browse the marketplace or subscribe to placements. You only pay when you subscribe to a placement.

Buyer Pro (optional)

£29/month, designed for agencies. Includes:

  • Bulk ordering tools (subscribe to 10+ placements in one flow)
  • CSV export of all active placements
  • White-label monthly link health report for clients
  • Priority customer support

Worth it if you're managing 20+ placements or running link building for clients.

Express Verification (optional)

£5 one-time per placement. Same-day verification instead of the standard 48 hours. Useful if you have a tight campaign timeline.

For sellers

Free to list

No submission fee, no monthly cost, no charges to create listings. We make money only when you do.

Premium Listing (optional)

£19-49/month per listing. Pushes your listing to the top of category search results, typically driving 3-5× more placement requests. Useful for new sellers building initial traction or established sellers with capacity to sell more.

Minimum payout

£10. If your earnings for a given month are below £10, the balance rolls over to the next month.

Example: buyer cost calculation

You subscribe to:

  • One Gold-tier guest post at £120/month (9 months in)
  • One Silver-tier niche edit at £45/month (2 months in)
  • One Bronze-tier editorial at £20/month (new)

Monthly breakdown:

| Placement | Seller price | Fee rate | Fee | Your total | |---|---|---|---|---| | Gold guest post | £120 | 12% | £14.40 | £134.40 | | Silver niche edit | £45 | 15% | £6.75 | £51.75 | | Bronze editorial | £20 | 15% | £3.00 | £23.00 | | Total monthly | £185 | | £24.15 | £209.15 |

Example: seller earnings

You have 8 active placements:

  • 3 Bronze at £20/month = £60
  • 3 Silver at £55/month = £165
  • 2 Gold at £110/month = £220

Monthly earnings (before fee — remember the fee is on top, not deducted):

£445/month, paid to you in full on the 1st of the following month.

If two of those placements are 7+ months old, those buyers are paying 12% fee instead of 15% — but that doesn't affect what you receive. Your listed price is what you earn.
