Welcome to Weelinx. This guide walks through the end-to-end buyer flow, from signing up to your first verified live placement.

Step 1 — Create an account

Sign up with your email address. We'll send you a magic link — no password to remember. Click the link and you're in.

You can browse the marketplace without an account, but you'll need to sign in before subscribing to a placement.

Step 2 — Browse the marketplace

Head to /marketplace. Filter by:

  • Niche — topical relevance is the single most important criterion
  • Quality tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum
  • DR range — Domain Rating, rough authority proxy
  • Monthly traffic — real organic visitors
  • Price range — monthly fee
  • Placement type — guest post, niche edit, sponsored content, editorial mention

Each listing shows the site's reliability score (percentage of verification checks passed), recent reviews, and the full metric set.

Site domains are anonymised on public listings — you'll see "Marketing Blog #1842" rather than the actual URL. The domain is revealed after you subscribe and the payment clears escrow.

Step 3 — Select a placement

Click a listing to see full details. You'll see:

  • Full metrics
  • Example content from the site
  • Seller's response time estimate
  • Reliability history
  • Buyer reviews (once the seller has 3+ months of history)

When you're ready: click Subscribe to this placement.

Step 4 — Fill out the brief

Provide:

  • Target URL — the page on your site you want the link to point to
  • Anchor text — preferred anchor (we recommend branded or partial-match; avoid exact-match commercial for most placements)
  • Preferred rel attribute — dofollow (default), sponsored, or nofollow
  • Brief — a paragraph describing the angle, key points, or topic direction you want the content to cover

For niche edits, you can also specify which existing article you'd like the link placed in (if you have a preference).

Step 5 — Payment

You'll be taken to Stripe checkout. The payment is held in escrow — the seller doesn't receive anything until your link is verified live.

You're charged monthly from the date of verification. If the link ever disappears, the next charge is paused automatically.

Step 6 — Seller publishes

For guest posts and sponsored content, the seller will submit a draft through your placement's message thread. You can approve or request changes (up to 2 rounds of revisions).

For niche edits and editorial mentions, the seller will publish directly.

Typical timeline: 3-7 days from subscription to live link.

Step 7 — Verification

Once the seller marks the placement as live, our crawler verifies within 48 hours (or same-day if you added Express Verification for £5).

When verification passes, your first payment is released and the placement goes live in your dashboard.

What happens monthly

From then on:

  • We check your placement weekly (light check)
  • Full verification monthly
  • Random spot-checks in between
  • As long as checks pass, monthly payment releases automatically
  • If any check fails, payment pauses immediately and the seller has 7 days to fix it

You can cancel any active placement at any time from your dashboard.
